Relaxed and happy
Yoga may be the oldest form of stress management.
Most of us are permanently under pressure, nervous and feel overstrained. Yoga is an excellent tool for finding inner balance and letting go.
Practicing Yoga, we connect our body, mind and spirit. Yoga therefore can help us to grow physically more flexible and resilient, but also more balanced, stress resistant and sustainably happy.
Yoga at Fräulein Yogini’s
At Fräulein Yogini’s you can immerse into the world of yoga: from classical asanas (physical practices / exercises) to traditional Indian yoga techniques like pranayamas (breath) and meditation. You can choose between a wide range of drop-in classes for a maximum of 12 participants and private classes or intensive workshops. You find our monthly schedule here
Our focus is on a variety of soft and nourishing yoga styles: from dynamic vinyasa yoga and classical hatha yoga to yin and restorative yoga. We also teach dedicated classes for people over 60.
Our credo: yoga benefits everyone, no matter how old or sporty you are. We find a yoga style that is perfect for you.
Which Yoga course?
The asanas are held longer than in the dynamic yoga styles vinyasa and flow yoga. Hatha is a classical yoga style and perfect for beginners and yogis who want to enhance / refine their asana practice alike.
Hatha Flow Yoga combines benefits of slow and exact Hatha yoga with the flowing dynamic of flow yoga and is therefore the perfect choice if you are a beginner and want to learn the asanas (postures) from a scratch before joining them into a slow flow. The connection of breath and movement opens new doors of body perception.
Vinyasa Yoga / Flow Yoga
The movements are connected to our breath. We flow from asana to asana. If you practise these dynamic yoga forms on a regular basis, you will feel a meditative flow.
Vinyasa yoga can be physically challenging and is recommended for students with medium or advanced yoga skills.
Core Power Vinyasa
In this strenuous and vigorous class, we specifically strengthen our core muscles as well as our arms and shoulders. This class is for all the yogi*nis who enjoy sweating and powerful multi-disciplinary workouts.
We hold asanas in passive stretches for 2-5 minutes in sitting or lying postures. The more we let go, the better not only our muscles but also our fasciae and connective tissues can stretch. Yin Yoga can also help activate and balance our meridians.
Is the most gentle yoga style. We use bolsters, blankets and yoga blocks to make the body as comfortable as possible in relaxing reclining soft stretches. Restorative yoga helps us release our stress and we sink into a deep state of nourishing relaxation and wellbeing.
is a traditional yogic relaxation technique. It lets us sink into a state between being asleep and awake. It releases stress and calms our nerves. Our subconscious can recover and we gain self-awareness and inspiration.
