Relaxed and happy

Yoga may be the oldest form of stress management.

Most of us are permanently under pressure, nervous and feel overstrained. Yoga is an excellent tool for finding inner balance and letting go.

Practicing Yoga, we connect our body, mind and spirit. Yoga therefore can help us to grow physically more flexible and resilient, but also more balanced, stress resistant and sustainably happy.

Yoga at Fräulein Yogini’s

With Fräulein Yogini you can immerse into the world of yoga: from classical asanas (physical practices / exercises) to traditional Indian yoga techniques like pranayamas (breath) and meditation. You can choose between a wide range of online or outdoor drop-in classes and private classes or intensive workshops.  You find our monthly schedule here

Our focus is on a variety of soft and nourishing yoga styles: from dynamic vinyasa or flow yoga and classical hatha yoga to yin and restorative yoga. We also teach dedicated classes for people over 60.

Our credo: yoga benefits everyone, no matter how old or sporty you are. We find a yoga style that is perfect for you.

Which Yoga course?

Hatha Yoga

In this traditional yoga form, the asanas are held longer than in the dynamic yoga styles vinyasa and flow yoga. Hatha is a classical yoga style and perfect for beginners and yogis who want to enhance / refine their asana practice alike.

 Flow Yoga

The movements are connected to our breath. We flow from asana to asana. If you practise dynamic yoga forms on a regular basis, you will feel a meditative flow.

Vinyasa Yoga

Vinyasa yoga is a very dynamic form of yoga. It can be physically challenging and is recommended for students with medium or advanced yoga skills.

 Yin Yoga

We hold asanas in passive stretches for 2-5 minutes in sitting or supine postures. The more we let go, the better not only our muscles but also our fasciae and connective tissues can stretch. Yin Yoga can also help activate and balance our meridians.

Mashup Yoga:

In this dynamic yoga class we bring everything together that makes our body, breath and energy vibrate with bliss: asanas from traditional indian Kundalini* yoga to flow and hatha yoga and sometimes also yin postures. These classes are suitable for athletic beginners and medium and advanced yogi+nis who enjoy new combinations and mash ups of different yoga asanas.

*please note that Fräulein Yogini teaches traditional indian Kundalini Yoga, as she was taught by her teachers in the Himalayas. Please note that this is NOT the Kundalini yoga taught by Yogi Bhajan.

Yin and Yang Yoga:

The best of both worlds. In the first half of this class (Yang), we start warming up our bodies with active and challenging asanas. In the second half (Yin), we gently allow our muscles and fascia to stretch and soften into passive stretches.
